Driving4Education.org Goes Live

(May 28, 2013) Today Driving4Education launched it`s brand new website Driving4Education.org. The new website will feature information about careers in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math), science facts, as well as events and outreach activates.  “I want to get today’s students excited about STEM and using motorsports is a natural fit because it is about engineering, technology and innovation. A quick look at a modern day racecar can show this.” commented Mike Geldart.

One of the new features the website will include is called Nerd word of the month. Once a month, a word relating to STEM will be posted on the website with a definition and illustration of how that particular concept applies in the real world.

The new website will also showcase what programs Driving4Education is currently  working with and what events they will be participating in. “The new website will help us continue to ‘make science cool’ and demonstrate why we have spent over 120 hours inspiring and mentoring the next generation of scientist and engineers.”

Driving4Education℠ launched in 2012, is a grassroots initiative founded by Mike Geldart and Geldart Motorsports, LLC intended to draw attention to the many exciting opportunities for today’s students to pursue an education and career in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) fields.
